Meet the Team: Tony Cracroft
Commercial Account Handler
Courage, precision, the ability to work as a team and quiet determination were all qualities required of Tony on a regular basis in his 15 years as an Aircrewman in the Royal Navy. All of which also come in very handy for handling Flint’s commercial insurance enquiries.
Tony’s five months with Flint make him a relative newcomer to the office and like so many, many others before him his start in the insurance business was a bit of an accident. However, six solid years of commercial insurance experience means that he is more than qualified to handle the many and varied enquiries that we get at Flint.
Dealing with new business enquiries makes Tony a first port of call (excuse the pun) for many of our clients, his job being to discuss the risk and then seek the most favourable terms from underwriters to secure the business.
Tony’s key message to clients right now is: don’t try to cut corners; best cover for the business isn’t always the cheapest; get cover dependent on your business needs.
When we asked Tony how those who knew him might describe him, the answer was “all-round good guy”, we think that‘s pretty accurate.
