How to claim on your fleet insurance

We understand that accidents to company vehicles can be costly to your business – so if you need to make a claim, call us immediately so that we can help you.

Our dedicated claims team is there to give you expert help and advice to make sure that whatever problem you’re faced with is handled quickly, to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible.

We’re happy to deal with your transport manager, or direct with the driver – it’s your call.

In the event of a claim it’s really important that all your drivers know what action to take:

  • Take care of yourself and your passengers first
  • Where applicable – contact the police (usually where’s there been an injury)
  • Get the other party’s details: name, address, telephone number, vehicle registration number and insurance details
  • Get details of any witnesses
  • Contact Flint Insurance claims immediately

Your Flint claims team will:

  • Arrange repairs to your vehicle (from your own policy if cover is provided, or any responsible third party, if not).
  • Deal with a total loss claim where your vehicle is not repairable.
  • Provide a credit hire vehicle (subject to Terms and Conditions*)
  • Instruct a solicitor to deal with any injury claim to you or any passengers
  • Ensure that at all times you are kept up to date with your claim and where necessary do all of the leg work for you!
