Coronavirus – A message from our Managing Director

Flint Insurance is proud to be the trusted advisor to many organisations, large and small and pride ourselves on working in specialist markets across the UK and serving our local business community.

This pandemic has taken even the most brilliant minds in the country by surprise and everyday people are making decisions at the highest level that impact on all of our businesses. We are a medium size employer in the business world, with in excess of 100 people and their families relying on us for their income and we are being faced with the same unenviable decisions that all business are having to consider – we do not take this responsibility lightly.

We will ensure that any decision we make will be with two factors in the forefront of our minds, the wellbeing of our staff and their families and how we continue to provide a service for our customers. In many respects the ultimate success of the planning we have made should mean that you will not notice any reduction in the service we are providing, we will be here on hand when you need us.

We will be lobbying our insurers alongside the main Insurance trade bodies to negotiate the best possible outcomes from this situation and we hope that as government are clearer on their decisions the insurance market will react accordingly.

In addition we are looking at any ways which we can help our customers at this difficult time, this may be by helping them with payment plans, reducing exposures where possible – if you are in any doubt and would like to discuss the options we will be here.

One thing we do know is that business in this country is resilient, and we have been set challenges before and risen to conquer them on many occasions, and there is no reason why the economy and business will not come back bigger and stronger, whilst the powers that be take the best decisions they can to first and foremost look after our people.
