Jim Tuhey, Flint’s commercial claims and risk management expert, accompanied by Tom Owen, one of our Graduate Trainees on his first client site visit.
The pair travelled to Maidstone to one of our major Commercial clients to meet an independent third party surveyor. They were there to calculate accurate reinstatement costs for our client’s various insured assets. Jim and the surveyor will use this information to make sure that our client is properly protected and not underinsured in any areas.
Providing this level of support to our customers is what we do at Flint every day, so that if the worst happens, as it does from time to time, they know that they have a robust insurance contract designed to be there when they need it.
The Flint Graduate scheme provides a two-year training programme in which our trainees begin formalised insurance education to become CII qualified, whilst gaining practical experience within the different departments at Flint.
We want our young people to bring the knowledge they gained at university and their familiarity with new technology and apply it to the ongoing challenges we all face within business. In return they will gain excellent experience, get on-going support in a vibrant and dynamic environment and a great job at the end of it.
Interviews for the Flint Graduate scheme are on-going.
Good luck Tom!
